This four-piece band, hailing from Auburn, Alabama delivered a high-octane performance that had the entire crowd on their feet from start to finish. Their unique blend of classic and alternative rock blended with some blues and improvisational grit brought a fresh sound to the Savannah music scene.

Victory North’s Brian Goldman introduced the band stating “We get thousands of demos from bands wanting to play the Victory North stage, but the very moment I heard this band I knew we had to get them here to Savannah for a show.”

The band, made up of lead vocalist / lead guitarist Preston Hall, bassist Bennett Baugus, rhythm guitarist Blake Dobbs and drummer Wyatt Griffith brought it home with a performance that felt off the cuff on one hand, and yet well thought out on the other. Their tight musicianship and infectious energy kept the audience hooked throughout the entire set which they played to mostly a college age crowd of hundreds who turned out to listen.

The band's chemistry was undeniable, and it was evident that they were having just as much fun on stage as the crowd was having in the audience. This was not just a youthful band. There was remarkable showmanship from some old souls, and they made the night feel like an intimate jam session with some old friends.

As the night went on, The Stews showcased their versatility with a mix of ballads, some over the top jams, and some hints of metal thrown in. Each song was delivered with the same passion and intensity, leaving no doubt that this band is very much deserving of a label backed national tour. As you see in the video the band members are also extremely kind and easy going which, should help drive their destiny towards greatness.

Late in the show the band played a tribute cover of War Pigs by Black Sabbath. Then, as the final notes of the encore faded away, the crowd erupted into one last round of applause. The Stews had left it all on the stage, delivering a performance that will be remembered for years to come.

To conclude… The Stews have some serious potential to become a force to be reckoned with in the world of rock and roll. Their raw talent, infectious energy, and undeniable kind charisma make them a must-see act for anyone who loves live music.
