Savannah, Georgia’s art and music scene is happening. Yet, it seems to be evolving with each passing day with creatives of all kinds flocking to the area for it’s rich culture, hospitality, and hopping social settings. Home to SCAD, Savannah College of Art and Design, it draws young aspiring creatives from around the world to study adding to the artful vibes that seem to surround this sprawling scene. You’ll find live music 7 nights a week ranging from local area songwriters to big stage concerts from legendary entertainers. There are world class museums to visit focusing on area history as well as those focused on modern or contemporary art to explore. There are wonderful galleries, and art studios to visit for those who want to get to know local creators in person. Visitors will also find street artists and musicians busking around the town as well. The art and music scene thrives here in Savannah, and here at Savannah Proper we are working towards brining you interesting stories about the artists and creative thinkers that make the area such a cool place to live and visit.
